DOOR CLOSER INSTALLATION: STEP 1: - Mark the hinge side of the door frame at the desired height for the bracket. - The bracket should be placed 1/4" in from the face of the storm or screen door, and at least 1/2'' down from the top of the frame. - Fasten the bracket with 4 long screws. - Connect the closer rod to the bracket using a short pin and retaining cap. - Do not change the tension of the closer until the installation is complete.

STEP 2: - Attach the door bracket to the closer with a long pin and retaining cap. - Mark the center hole of each slot and drill pilot holes. - Fasten the door bracket to the door with 2 short screws. - Adjust the closing speed by turning the adjustment valve as directed. - For extra latching power, move the pin to the rear hole.

WARNING: - Ensure the lugs on the rod are resting against the 'Hold Open Washer' before locating the door bracket. - Once the installation is complete, move the 'Hold Open Washer' back of the lugs on the rod.
